idp INTERIOR DESIGN was initiated in 2005 by Malcolm King, as the dedicated interior design arm of International Design Partners Ltd (established 1997) to offer planning, conceptual architecture, interior design, coordinated lighting design, full FF&E specification and design project management. Full FF&E purchasing is offered through IDP Procurement Ltd.

idp is managed by professionals with extensive experience and knowledge of the hotel and leisure market, both nationally and internationally. The company is dedicated to creative interior design, irrespective of budget, project type or location. We appointed Malcolm and his team at IDP Interior Design based on their initial studies and concept design for turning two of our indoor tennis courts into a luxury spa. IDP used the experience gained on similar spa projects to create unique spaces and finishes which included an exhilarating walk through experience based on a woodland theme. After developing the design from conceptual to final specification and detailing, IDP was heavily involved with the purchasing and coordination. In addition to outstanding interior design, IDP coordinated the lighting design which was instrumental in creating the relaxing, sophisticated atmosphere expected. The result was a stunning, natural environment that has recently been awarded the 'Global Spa of the Year Award'.
